Ms. Oratai Santimataneedol In 2002, it began with her hope and vision of a school that would provide
a comprehensive intellectual and social-emotional learning (SEL) program for
young children. A first step toward the realization of that goal was the small
and humble beginning of Two Thumbs Up. Six years later, this hope and
vision has been realized by the opening of Mataneedol School, an ultra-modern
bilingual school
located in Khon Kaen, Thailand.
Our
School The only pre-primary and primary school in Khon Kaen that offers comprehensive academic
and non-academic programs for your child. We have created an exceptional environment for any
young learner.

In terms of its construction, design and features, few schools in Thailand could
compare to MTES. Located 5 kilometers south of central Khon Kaen, it's quieter and safer.

There are other features that make MTES a school that

Security Guards
- All traffic in and out of our walled school grounds is overseen by
a perimeter security guard. Beginning Monday July 5th, parents and approved
guardians have been issued VIP Mataneedol Stickers. Placed on the
driver's side of your windscreen, the perimeter security guard will need to
see this sticker to be admitted onto the school grounds. Once inside the
school grounds, parents are personally greeted by our reception desk nurse's
assistant or your child's teacher's. You can drop off your child here. Or you
may park your car and accompany your child into their classroom. Either way,
you know they are safe with us.
VIP Mataneedol Sticker
Biometric Scanning
- Parents or legal guardians are finger scanned when checking in and out of
the building.
MTES Shuttle Service
with GPS - If you option for your child to be picked up at
home, we always know where they are. Our van's global positioning signal tells
us where it is at all times.
Closed Circuit
TV- 16 on-site cameras monitor your child's activities in
every classroom. To logon, go to

Native English Speaking Teachers - We
hire qualified, native English speaking teachers for our English program.
ICT Facility - We have a modern
Information & Computer Tech Department.
School Health Our school policy is that everyone entering the school grounds is first
checked for their temperature at our outside reception desk by our nurse's
assistant. Please allow her to do her job effectively. This policy is for
everyone's protection. We also encourage that all teachers and students wash
their hands throughout the day, especially before lunch time.
